My thoughts and love are with your dear friend.I too have had a similar experience with one of my sons.He has suffered terribly through the years and has attempted suicide three times. On one occassion I was on the phone to the Dr. begging for some hepl!.Believe it or not,the reply I got was that they could do nothing until my son asked for help himself. He was beyond the point where he was able to ask anyone for anything. Eventually I did get help for him,but only after reversing my appeal and saying that the situation was making ME ILL and as the Dr's patient I was asking for help.I think it helped that I was recording the conversation.I have found that this is a great loosener in resistance one experiences from authority. The most awkward jobworth does not like to know that his words may be quoted at a later date. Yes of course I will think of all in trouble at this time, and help where I can. Rose |
