cards.that is what some scumbags are doing in the hampshire area and i was nearly a victim a few weeks ago.went to my local cashpoint and tried to put my card in but it wouldn't take it.couldn't understand why.looked in the machine slot and their was something obstructing the slot.looked like a skimming device which takes your pin number and other details.on south today they said that many people had become victims in this ruthless crime which has left people with empty accounts.all i can say is these people are the scum of the earth who pray on the law abiding citizens who actually go out and earn a living they have to steal to earn theirsxxxx):

oh they can.not all branches have cameras that actually film them doing it and if they did they would think that the person were drawing out money.they have ven gone so far to install cameras where they can film the person putting in his oin number clone the card and obtain money like that.it's a callous form of lining your pockets.especially when that person has gone out and earned that moneyxxxxx):

I use them as little as possible. All my bills are paid on direct debit, most shops I use have chip and pin. My local bank is a short walking distance away and I now go into the branch and draw money over the counter. No doubt they will find a way round the chip and pin next. What's mine, stays mine. Have worked too hard to let some scum have it.

When you pay for a meal in a restaurant you should go to the till to pay otherwise they could skim your card without you knowing. Get your money on cashback or from the bank it's safer than the cash machines.

that is the safest way,if the building society is open and have a cashpoint inside use it.it would be a lot saferxxxx(:

that happened to a friend of minehis brother was getting married in and the reception was being held in a hotel.so he booked a room in the hotel.paid by credit card and thought nothing of it.a month later he got a call from the police saying that someone had been caught using his credit card number and spending hundreds of pounds by buying products online without his knowledge.xxxx(:

My stepson had his card cloned via a cashpoint machine - I usually use the one actually IN the bank (figure its less likely to be tampered with) but that's no good if it's out of hours!
