did you see one of the rolf serieses where they had 3 or 4 artists paint portraits of a celeb each week?? The finished ones were fab - and all so different. Would be lovely to have that. Maz. xX |

I loved the way they got to know them a bit and put so much time and some of the celebs character into each pic. Photos are so 'ten a penny' now, how special must it be to have someone take all that trouble to immortalise you!! |

One may now take a photo and print it out to look like an oil painting. It is even possible to print it on canvas or fabric (possibly also onto a wooden panel or glass). I have done it and transferred a number of prints from my family tree photos onto fabric and Mary, my wife, made a patchwork quilt for my birthday. len |
