We open our on Christmas morning.It will be Ashley,one of our eldest,Immin and me this year. It will be our first quiet Christmas.I did wonder whether I would take us to an exotic location,but I think I have left it too late now - Rose

In the morning!!!! We open them when we first wake up, then go to nanny and grandads, and get to open more!!! xx

Oh no couldn't wait til then! Our kids are up about 5am. They usually start coming through about 3ish to see if Santa has been yet, then it's every half hour 'til we eventually say yes about 5ish. It's great I get more excited than the kids and the older ones keep it all going for the younger ones. Before they go through to the lounge, we always phone my s-i-l who lives in the same street and she comes up to see them open their pressies. When I was little all the children in the street would be out playing by 6am , showing off what Santa had brung. Christine

We also have a "treasure" hunt on Xmas morning at my mums for the kids. Keeps them occupied while the adults are busy with dinner etc. Two grown ups have a team each

Last year my partner and I exchanged one of our gifts on Xmas Eve after we had been to Midnight Mass. This was only because it was our first proper Xmas together and we wanted a special moment without the bustle on Xmas morning

We always opened presents in the morning but hubby's family wait til after lunch!! Does my head in waiting as i get so excited!! :O)
