With these dark mornings and early evenings? Am I alone in finding this a very depressing time of year? I think I've become prey to SAD _ Seasonally Affected Disorder! |

I hate it too - I hate it getting up in the dark - getting home in the dark. My house loses any sunlight/brightness by 10am in the winter months and I find it very hard to get motivated to do anything.......... Lyla - it's a light box that you use indoors - has a special blue bulb that simulates natural daylight. People with SAD use them to help overcome the lack of natural daylight, especially during winters months........... Personally I think all homes should have one, then we wouldn't feel so lethargic during the winter. |

I must be the odd one out as I quite like the winter! Nothing better than closing your curtains, fire on, good book in your hand and a milky coffee!! |

I'm with you Bev, I love the winter as long as there is no snow. I feel sorry for the kids though as they tend to feel a bit cooped up. It's too dark after school for them to play outside. Christine |

Me too. Although the clocks changing are supposed to make it brighter in the morning?? I think it's dimmer. Does my head in, some days you can't seem to get going it's so dismal |

The last two days have been so dull and overcast I feel really shut in and stifled. If only the sun would break through I do hope tomorrow is better-Rose |
