Does two fingers and a thumb on each hand count? Can't touch type but use the above very quickly. My boys type a lot faster than me ..... they've just picked it up from all the games and chatter online...... amazing really! SIoux |

Years (and years) ago my younger sister bought a correspondence typing course but got fed up after a couple of weeks and stopped doing it. I borrowed the typewriter and books from her bedroom and taught myself. The typewriter was a teaching one and had no letter labels on the keys so you couldn't cheat. Got to 30wpm on my own then went to evening class for a year to finish off. Reached 80wpm that way. Best thing I ever did as typing is never a chore now and its stood me in good stead in work and out. Angela |

Yep, both hands - (and that's all the fingers Paul!!! ) Learnt at school. After the first ten minutes of the first lesson we weren't allowed to look at the keyboard again! Kxx |

Anyone manage to type with both hands? Took me a fair few months to be good at it but look at me go now! (Sorry Marion , you gave me the idea for the thread :-) |
