She and Paul, I hope Paul is soon feeling better, do remember if he feels unwell during the night, call an ambulance, get him to hospital and refuse to leave. I have a friend who's son is a doctor in a hospital, when her husband was taken ill, the son got him in and operated on straight away. I dont blame him getting his father in straight away, but why cant we all have the same treatment. Take Care, Love to you both June xxxx

She ,i have just read this thread and words fail me.I hope your hubby is okay nowand that something has been sorted out.I'm afraid that i would be ringing a few bells to my mp about this totally unacceptable state of affairs. It's down to the area you live in i'm afraid.yorkshire and Cumbria are bad ,and so is Wales i'm told.I can't complain about my area ,the hospital was brilliant ,but it took two years of misery before i finally got the op i needed..so much for the reduced waiting times at a&e.Fred.ptfg.

OMG.... just what is this country coming too when the health of an individual is compromised due to the lack of facilities.... I do hope he's ok and that they can sort this mess out sooner rather than later!! Big hugs. diana

Thanks all for your kind thoughts for Paul - he is a bit more like himself today - but is exhausted. One thing - at least at home he can have his cup of tea when he wants it lol Usually our hospital is pretty good - but it was unfortunate that Paul took so ill when he did as the beds were being used by people with acute self-inflicted problems - such is life. Fred - the hosp you were in is the one that sent my daughter home when she was having the baby . My heart goes out to the staff in A & E - they have so much to contend with - not just from the patients but from the patients families. There was a family there when we were in - the father was ill - but rude and aggressive, his wife was mouthing off about everything in a loud voice and their 4yr old son was running amok. One of the young doctors struck up a conversation with the child - asking what Santa was going to bring him and was disgusted at the stream of filth that spewed forth from this childs mouth!

She, I hope Paul is a bit better today, if not its time to start nagging your doctor, you shouldn't have to do this but sometimes needs must. Love to you both, I will speak later. June xx
