Val, how very annoying and disappointing for you both. I often find in these situations even though I have certain rights as a consumer, it is advisable to make the best of things. Could your hubby, or you! or a clever family member repair the ear with a suitable material. I dont know what its made of , but most things can be fixed pretty well. Even if it is a little obvious after painting, ythis would make him a VERY SPECIAL horse. One that only your daughter could look after! Good luck! Joan |

Val, just caught this thread - have you contacted the branch that you bought it from to see if they have a replacement anywhere in the UK? Hope you can get it resolved in time - good job you had checked it. |

If the ear is wood then a drop of PVA glue will. one save you mony, and two do exactley the same job as a pro would do. Just make shore the two bit match a bit of glue on both bits and bobs your uncle. |

Val that's brilliant news. While I was e-mailing you my daughter was telling me that they had one in her shop. So you would have had the choice. I am really pleased for you that they have got a replacement. My other daughter bought the same one as you last year for her daughter. If I can't pull a few strings for friends especially when my daughter works for them. CHUFFED Sue |
