Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 7 Dec 2004 18:35

Heard that she had a seizure and collapsed at a concert in Milan. Her tour, which was coming to the UK has been cancelled and she has to have at least 3 mths rest due to exhaustion. She's 58 now. Haven't heard about her in years. Can't even remember the name of the song she was well know for. Was she Mike Jaegar's girlfriend at one time?

Yes one of many of Jagger ex girlfriends, but I think they were an item for a longtime. She lives in Ireland these days, she was known for "As tears go by" a lovely song, another nice one of hers is "Dreaming my Dreams" Hope she gets better soon. I Like her Pat x

I hope she's going to be OK. I admire her fight back from drug addiction and I love her music. The Ballad of Lucy Jordan always brings tears to my eyes. Gwynne

Sandie Shaw went barefoot. Marianne Faithfull also did "This little bird". When I was a small girl at school we all used to discuss which pop star we'd like to be - Marianne, Sandie, Cilla, Lulu, Kathy Kirby, Dusty - the one who got most votes was Cher. nell
