If only civil registration began in 1737 rather than 1837 If only the earlier census returns before 1841 all survived and gave personal info and were online. If only there was a National register of Burials, of every single burial or cremation in Britain since the 1500s, surname indexed If only the IGI had full coverage of every single baptism and marriage that has ever taken place since the 1500s. Then genealogy would be a lot easier. |
