if someone contacted you tracing your family even if you didnt like or know the person,or maybe had heard through your family bad things about this person would you help fill in missing blanks??

oh thats a difficult one isnt it - but I HAVE been in that position and since they were family I felt that it was their right to know about their ancestors - but I was so tempted to add in a few red herrings hehehe - I didnt though. Funnily enough they have become really nice to the rest of us all now - and that is all thanks to the family tree.
