Cherie, I'm glad you're sorted. They're a pain to contact(Associations/councils/lanlords), but they gets your money - they does the repairs (eventually) !!! maggie

thanks to all who added concern on my thread.as our estate is council owned but its run by a tenants association the council wnt do repairs!! i finally got the heating repaired at 4pm tonight(after we'd battled on all night/morning and mid aft)as no-one has an emergency number at all.its like the carribean now as we arnt used to the heat lol..not impressed with the time we had to wait though,glad my house wasnt falling down or some major work needed.
