I was a little worried about pointing out an error in a tree I found on Ancestry - my research had shown a different marriage and I had some self doubt but I mailed the person concerned anyway to check. She was actually very pleased that I had, having mistranscribed her information. I would like to think that someone would do the same for me. Magsxx |

Hi Grampa, One of the joys in exchanging information is when those you contact check through what you've sent. I've had a few typos, especially dates, questioned and I've been able to correct them. I usually include speculations as well and have had some disproved and others confirmed. Gwynne |

I agree! Being relatively new I make mistakes but would appreciate the feedback off other people. Thanks Bev |

I want my Family Tree to be as accurate as possible. However, I do know that errors can appear at any time that details are transcribed. So, If anyone finds an error amongst my names and details please feel free to let me know. I will not be offended. |
