I am trying to trace my mothers cousins who were from Liverpool. My Mothers Grandfather was an Alfred Thomas Searle who was born in Plymouth in 1858. He married a Mary Davies and they had eight children Susan 1885 William 1888 Richard 1891 Alfred 1890 Harold 1893 Arthur 1896 Henry 1900 Richard was my mother’s father. She knew Aunt Suzy but lost touch with all of her other uncles and their children. Do you know or are you related to any of these brothers, if so please let me know. Also there was an uncle of Alfred who also came to live in Liverpool in the early 1800’s. His name was William Searle b. 1803 in Staverton. He had a son called William who was born in Staverton in 1832 and he had four sons. Albert, Edwin, William and Walter. Does anyone recognise any of these names. |
