Have been really busy revising for exams so havent looked in for 10 days or so , and its disappeared, i know it wouldnt still be on the main pages, but its not on my 'view your threads only bit'. Can other people remove them?

Its just strange, sure the topic annoyed a few at first, but i think everyone understood what i was tring to say by the end, and it had turned into a discussion on chocolate, its ridiculous for anyone to remove this!

Hayley, You've checked the 'View Your Threads Only' option, I take it?

Hayley

Hayley Report 8 Dec 2004 12:44

Yeah i tried that Andy, i didnt expect it to still be on the main pages. It was called something like 'dont read if you dont want to- a thread for whoever'

If they had taken it off in the first few days i wouldnt have been surprised (though i would still have been annoyed) but if they had bothered to read it properly then they would have known that it was perfectly innocent, especially later on in it.

If its been taken off then Im sorry but im glad. Im glad because it has stopped people bringing it back, now trouble has graced the boards again. The thread should have been removed ages ago, Because of the trouble it generated. and NO it wasnt me who had it removed. Elaine x

Thats exactly the kind of ignorant response in talking about, i dont care whether you removed it or not, what id o care about is you passing comment when you couldnt have possibly read it all.

hayley i read it and some of the replies were below the belt. they were down right rude. it then started to lighten up a bit ,but not for long. susie

So what are you saying? That we can only have light threads? I wasnt rude to anyone, but certainly a lot of the replies i received were rude, i think a lot of you should take a look at yourselves before you come preaching to me

Sorry Susie, i shouyldnt be so defensive. Its just that as i said, i have never been rude to anyone, it was the comments that i recived that were rude

Hi Haley...just wanted to add, i was not rude either, just stated my opinion, but when some comments were made towards me and a couple of others, i thought they were a little too harsh and maybe uncalled for...but you are right, the thread got lighter and the subject changed, it should not have been removed!
