Had a sadly embarrassing one this year. Sent my cards out early, receiveda card from a friend I only hear from at Chritmas - her husband died in August, and, yes both their names were on the card. had to write a quick letter of sympathy and apology. Ann Glos

What I hate is the card that arrives on 22/23 December from the person who didn't send to you the 2 previous years who has suddenly 'rediscovered' you again!! Ann glos

This always happens to me too. I have a frantic search for an address I know from last year was on a bit of paper stuffed into my address book- can never find it- until about the following July, when it turns out to be exactly where I thought it was but could not see for looking. Not that I am saying I am disorganised or anything!!!
