I've made 25+ donations of my AB+ blood, and feel it's very worthwhile. The staff are usually very friendly and encouraging, and it's sad to hear that Lesley was put off by one of them. (Why not give it another go - you can make appointments in advance now to avoid waiting around so long?) I didn't know that bone marrow donation can be done up to age 60 now; I'll have to put my name down for that, too! Helen
