Please can any one HELP. I have been going round in circles looking for information on my Grandad WILLIAM RYAN born 1898 died 1932 in Liverpool I have very little information on him i dont know where he was born and may have been adopted. I did track his medal records from the PRO but due to the fact i live to far away from the PRO i can not get there. He served with the 8th Liverpool Irish Regiment 1916-1918 he Worked for Liverpool corporation until his death. Any help would be truly appreciated Thank You Keith R |

There's a three-year old William Ryan on the 1901 census born in Liverpool - is there any chance that could be him ? He's the son of a Patrick and Mary Ryan. The family is lodging with a Rooney family. Simon |
