Great idea - It's funny when you're shopping and you can see all these poor men who have lost the will to live! Kxx

I had to smile................I hate shopping, my husband loves it, so I'm wondering if I can go to the creche and HE does the shopping! Don't like beer though!

Hi Linda Unfortunately, my hubby would never stay at home when I go shopping as he needs clothes too. He's perfectly happy in his men's shops but once I go into mine he needs somewhere to keep him occupied or its "can we go home now?". He has no patience! He enjoys shopping for clothes but only his and if I made him stay at home he wouldn't be happy at all. He just has no shopping stamina. Lynne

There is a shop called The Pier which sells candles, cushions, sparkly glasses and things like that for the home. There is always a collection of bemused looking men outside (mine included), having been left there whilst their ladies shop. They could do with setting up a creche there too!!!

Immin sits on the floor when we go shopping. In one or two stores where they know his tendancy they actually bring him a cup of coffee. He says if more men had a sit down strike when out shopping there would be rest areas for weary partners. Can you imagine all men out shopping sitting down on the shop floor.LOL-Rose

Hi Lapland Lovely I couldn't let this thread pass without comment! I have thought for years that large shops should have somewhere like this permanently. My hubby would be over the moon with a seat and that day's papers whilst I am shopping. I'm not sure about the beer though. Have to make sure they are not driving I suppose. Brilliant M & S Lynne

in some marks and spencers stores to keep the men sane while there wives and partners go christmas shopping.this is what they have done to stop the men getting irate and the women rushing to get the christmas gifts.the creche includes toys and plenty of lager.saw this on g.m.t.v this morning.so girls get as much money out of him.stick him in the creche and spend ,spend, spend!!!!!!!!!xxxxxxxx(:
