My husband casually dropped in to the conversation last night, that he'd love a copy of Steve McQueen's film 'Le Mans'. Trudged round town for two hours, with no joy! Have tried evry site I know on-line to buy a copy, but can only find it on DVD, and we are no that modern yet!! Anyone know any good sites to find it?? I'd love this to be a Xmas pressie for him! |

Just checked Ebay UK and it seems not to be available on PAL at the moment, the auctioner warns: Please note that this is a NTSC format video, if you are in the UK and have a PAL video please check your manual before bidding on this item. This item is only avaialable on NTSC format video. Format: NTSC (USA, Canada). There's plenty of the DVDs going cheap on Ebay. Sorry may not be much help but its not an easy film to get on video these days. Pat x |

Thanks guys! Sadly, Sarah, that's DVD as well, & Play.com don't seem to do videos at all. Paul, he can't even work the video's buttons, yet!! I can't go and confuse him with another set of buttons!! Seriously, though have already spent my usual cash limit on his pressies, this was just going to be a 'stocking filler'. Ho hum, best trudge round the market, and check out one of those cheap video stalls!! |

Thanks, Andy. Tried both, and can only get DVD. I refuse to bow to new technology!! I can't replace all my videos with DVD's!! Did that before with vinyl to CD, and it cost me a fortune. I'm gonna hold out as long as I can........! |

You could place an add in your local free ads paper. www(.)adtrader(.)co(.)uk They have a "wanted" section in there and it is free to advertise. If you get your ad in by Sunday they will advertise it both online and in your local free ads paper - published Wednesdays round here. Might be worth a try as it won't cost you anything. Good luck! Try putting SENDIT into your search engine. I got a video of a film from 1970 from them. Service was brill. |
