I can't have chocolate anywhere in the house without eating it. One year I did the good mum bit and spent ages baking gingerbread trees and men with my son, to hang on the christmas tree. As they weren't going to be eaten we decorated them with silver spray and stuck cotton wool on them. I had two dogs at the time that ate everyone of them after dragging the tree around the room while we were out. They even ate the cotton wool. Kerry

My answer is the same as Maz. Definitely don't put anything edible on the tree - it wouldn't be there for long and the tree would be tipped over. You know that saying - "Have you done enough for a mallowpuff" - anything left around gets eaten by our dog.

Not off the Christmas tree - but the number of times I have had to add a box of Quality Street or Roses to the big tin (and replace the sellotape) is nobody's business!! lol Magsxx
