Diane Yes they are Isnt that a coincidence?? Simon Cowell loved G4 at their audition, its only when he found he didnt get the groups he decided they werent to his taste

Good on you Margaret...I agree there is such a big range of music out there! I must admit Im not all that keen on rock so maybe thats why Im not struck on G4!

aren't Il Divo Simon Cowells creation anyway. I always thought that's why he used to have a bit of a swipe at G4. I like them both. Think I read it took him about 2 years to get the four of them together.

Bev I have listened to El Divo on numerous occasions. I like them, but G4 sing more towards the rock side of music which I like. Yes, the Britney Spears thing was a big mistake, but that is Louis Walsh's influence. I doubt they thought they could argue. There is room for both, dont misunderstand me, I love classical music, but I am also a heavy rock fan. The two are closer than you think. Some of you may never have heard of Cradle of Filth, a metal band. Their biggest influence was Stravinsky. There is room in this world for every kind of music and if we all liked the same it would be a very boring world. I am not a youngster either, I am over 50 Still rocking

Oh Bev, talk about shivers down my spine. O Holy Night is my favourite Christmas song and to hear them sing it - was very nearly in tears. It was wonderful. Mandy :)

Margaret Im sorry but I dont agree with you there is a massive difference between G4 and Il Divo! No matter what Il Divo sing they sound fantastic as for G4....Hit Me Baby One More Time...I dont think so!!

Thats fair enough each to their own. I liked them best out of what the X Factor was offering and thought they should have won. Steve was not my cup of tea and I thought he had a very weak voice most weeks. Diane

Yes I have it too and really like it. I too like G4, lets hope they are snapped up and we get a fabulous album from them. It would be great if they put out that christmas hymn they sang last week. Diane

of G4! Have you listened to"Il Divo"? They were on the Donny Osmond special tonight! I have the album playing at present and it is fabulous!!
