I started mine when my great uncle sent us a family tree and I began to take an interest and gradually took over the position of the families resident genealogist, :~) so now if anyone in the family needs to know something I'm the one they ask, lol

I can't remember exactly why I started... I think it was as a Christmas present for my grandmother but when I showed her all the work I'd done she just told me how many mistakes I'd made... Not this year!!! I've found family she doesn't even know exist! Am doing a presentation to my family at Christmas.

I started when I was 13 probably because of a school project I had to do on my family. I am also really interested in history so I wanted to find out how my family lived in the past. After my exams in May I am going to stay at school for another two years and then hopefully go to University. I want to become an archivist or a curator. Lucia :-)

I think that's just so GR can cover themselves...

I was in a shop and on my 13th birthday and on an impulse but brought the Family Tree software Generations. Still using it today and have been hooked ever since. I am back to a marriage date of 1751 but I'm currently concentrating on my G grandfather's siblings. I'm a student studying I.T, English and Geography.

So we have 15, 16, 19, 19 and 22! A combined age of 91? (I can't add up) That means if we all ganged up we'd be older than everyone else on here!!!! Then we could tell them what to do :-) lol
