Dan, he hasn't got any choice! They have to do four subjects at AS level, then drop one of them if they want for A level. He wanted to do Hist, Geog, Chem and Biology but couldn't fit Biology into the pool hence Media Studies! Mandy :)

good news, so if any of us are ill jordan can help out, thats comforting to know, just kidding , well done jordan, and hope all goes well for him in future, so many teenagers get labeled and theyre not all bad, some even get up to mischief and get labelled, i see lots i have worked with in junior school growing up and they always say hi or alright miss even though im now in a different job, it nice to see them all and they deserve better treatment by everyone

I reckon he's planning to do too much in 6th form. Best not to do more than 3 and if he's picking Media, English would compliment it well. Anyway, well done to him on passing his S.J A. Exam.

I hope you don't mind a mum having a little boast here. I think it's wonderful that we have a really nice group of young people on this board, Dan, Lucia, Bec, George, etc, etc and I think they should be encouraged. Well I'm very proud of my 16 year old son - Jordan - today. At the same time as studying for his mock GCSEs a few weeks ago, he also studied for his St John Ambulance First Aid in the Workplace course. Today he took the exam AND PASSED!! He is now a fully qualified First Aider and I'm so proud that he has done this instead of making a nuisance of himself in the neighbourhood. So to Jordan .... mum and dad are very proud of your hard work and we love you very much. Well done! PS, he did really well in his mocks too!!
