The only positive thing with being so late, is that I've done loads on my family tree. Mind you also ordered quite a few certs. Something to do in the new year when hubbys at work and the kids are back at nursery/school, and this baby is nice and quiet (i wish). Liz

Thanks for the messages, I am fed up now, I go to the hospital at 2pm tommorow and I am having a membrane sweep!!!!!!!! I was speaking to a friend who is a midwife and she said it may put me in labour after a couple of hours as I will be on my 4th child and will be 9 days over at that point. So fingers crossed. Saying that I'm convinced I will be induced nothing seems to work for me. Liz

Elizabeth I think your eldest daughter must be psychic,you should ask her when you think you will have the baby. You never know,she may come up with the right date/day. Hope you are ok in yourself. Sue

Sorry, yes we are still waiting!! I think the girls are getting fed up with me saying that we may not be here in the morning and that grandma and grandad will, Danielle our eldest just laughed at me when I just said it and said yes you will. Liz

I'm afraid I'm still here. Chris is going on our nurseries christmas party tonight, obviously i'm not in the mood to go. Hes convinced that it will come tonight as he has not had any alcohol in over 20 days!!!. I think otherwise I'm sure it will still be here and I'll end up getting induced which i dont want to as I was with Megan and it was the worst out of the 3. I will be on here later when I have put the children in bed. Liz

Have just read that apparently 'nipple stimulation' may induce labour.... worth a try I suppose? becx

hi elizabeth, why not try a hot curry, ive heard that this can work also with my first i drank codliver oil with orange juice it tastes horrible but it worked. hope all goes well for you when it happens, karen

Hi Liz, My son was due on the 12th too, that was 3 years ago next week!! I told them at the hospital that i wanted to be induced before christmas (if he didn't arrive on his own that was) and i went in on the 22nd and he was born that day. Just took one lot of gel. There was no way i was spending chrimble day in the hospital!! Came home the day after and was cooking dinner on christmas day - never again though LOL!! I was shattered. Good luck, hope babe arrives soon. xx

Hate to tell you but all five of mine were late! 2 boys 7-10 days 1 boy 3 weeks 1 girl 3 weeks and the last a girl 10 days. Good luck hope it's soon! Linda x
