Saving stamps

A few years ago Blue Peter were collecting stamps and young grandson told them all at school that his mum would send them off. We didn't have the heart to spoil his enthusiasm to help so we ended up with the whole school collection. I even got my aged mum helping to trim the edges a bit to lessen the postage, which cost us a small fortune. I think the school is collecting to help diabetics this year following on from their recent successful Denim for Diabetes tag day. |

I've just been chopping off the stamps from the envelopes ,which have arrived lately. Grandson's school saves them for a charity. Do you save yours for someone? |
