I was a fifty - sixty a day smoker and her indoors said I gave up so we could go on decent holidays , if you don't give up I'll be going on my own. That was 2 years ago it was hard but I thought if my beloved can do it then so can I. Saved nearly £2,000 in the first year and went to Kenya . The down side is through smoking I have damaged my lungs which effects my breathing in a small way but as the doctor said if I had'nt of stopped her indoors would of been right:-) |

Still not smoking, two weeks today since I had my last. Was on 40 a day for the last 24 years. Didn't use anything, but having a really bad chest infection kinda helped to stop me from having a fag. On steroids now and having to go to the hospital to see what long term damage has been done to my lungs. The ususal story, wish I'd stopped years ago! Funny I walked into the lounge tonight and hubby was smoking, yuck couldn't beleive how much it ponged!! Christine |
