Enjoy your time with him val, mother him a bit (probably don't need to tell you that). I am sure that he is looking forward to coming home as much as you are looking forward to seeing him. Have a lovely time with him. In a strange way, when husband was in the navy, it was worth the time he was away for the excitement of the time he was coming home - hard to explain but remembered to this day. Ann Glos

Hi Val, One of my brothers was in the navy and another in the army, just reading your thread brought back memories of home, especially when my mum would be so excited that one of both of her boys would be home for Christmas, happy days. Hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family Lynda XX

my son will be home for christmas havnt seen him since july so party time he is only home till boxing day but hey he is home back on guard duty on the 27th xxx he is in the army xxhappy days x
