lights.a street up north is having problems with an anonymous letter writer who is stating that their houses look tacky with lights on the outside of there houses.what do you think .do you think they look tacky or do you think it brightens up a streetxxxx(:

I love the lights, there was aphoto of that person's bungalow with the lights on and it was just one strip of rope lights and looked to me very tasteful and pretty. if it is the same one i saw Lisa, the ame person also complained about the 'tacky' front garden. She is new to that bungalow and has spent a lot of money having the garden landscaped - it sounded like sour grapes to me. Horrid to have neighbours like tat. Ann Glos

Personally what a sad person to write such things. I love all the decorations.It takes me ages to get home from shopping as I ramble about all over the town looking at all of the wonderful decorations. I love them and my mate Boris and his dog loves them and my cat and most other people except that sad winger. It gives such pleasure -Ramblin in a different way Rose

I love them. The tackier the better. My husband always takes us for a drive round to see them all. Sad at this time of the year when people have to try and spoil the fun. And I don't like Christmas!
