A jazz club that has been running, in a pub for about 50 years is threatened with closure, because they have built a block of flats next door, and ONE of the NEW tenants has complained of the noise!!!!!!!!

As happens time and time again, it's a case of a minority getting their way. Have the other 49 flats been asked if they mind?

Blimey, I should have thought the 'noise' from a jazzband would have been the least of their worries! Just wait till the animals get out at 11.00 p.m.!! Or later for some nights in a few days time!! Brian, ;-(

They probably didn't visit in the evenings when the club was open, and had not realised how loud the noise would be. however, it seems a bit much to close it on one complaint!! it just shows one thing though. if you are buying a new property, visit the area at all times of the day & night if you can.
