Hi Debbie I believe my gt grandfather took part - according to family he had stories about life in Africa but was too old for the named 'Boer War' - if you find any records I would be very interested - so far I have drawn a blank - all sources so far are for the later conflict Christine

i think i might have had two ancesters in the first boer war, could anyone tell me where i might find some boer records thank you, debbie
