I remember as a child, if I was due for a wallop I'd end up laughing, so I got two wallops, one for laughing and one for whatever I'm supposed to have done. Looking back now it was because I was scared. Maybe laughing is the same emotion as crying. Jo.

Me neither !! I laugh with nerves, even when an old dear fell over and I couldn't pick her up for laughing...she got a right strop on, but it made me worse!!!!

:-) I don't think there's much chance of us being undertakers.

Dear Jean you make me laugh! :)) Yes, Daniel, Mum always told me off for it, think it's nerves!, even when I was told my brother had fallen down a tree, and just missed severing an artery!.. I was at work, and stood laughing. Then, once I stood and watched him back his first car, into the neighbour's garage! ( I'm laughing now!) :)

Remember someone being called away from our table in the local for the phone. When she got back , she had her serious face on and I asked her " what's up?". She said her Aunty had died. Of course I said how sorry I was, and she replied that it was ok. I asked when it had happened.... she said "six months ago" !!! I fell off the chair laughing, and every time I see her now, I just can't help creasing up.

we were saying about this in work today, how people laugh when others have an accident or trip and its reasoning is your glad it wasnt you, thats why you laugh!!!!!!

I usually laugh when dad's asking a serious question face to face. Can't help myself so it usually looks like I don't care (hmm true), or looks like I'm lying.
