I don't belong to any fan clubs now but my mother in law runs The Troggs fan club which currently has about 500 members. For the younger ones amongst us, their biggest hit was Wild Thing and they also wrote Love Is All Around which was covered by Wet Wet Wet a few years back.

When I was about 13 I joined the Jess Conrad fan-club - who I hear you ask? well, to be honest I can hardly remember him. I think it cost 7/6d at the time which was about 1 x 1/2 weeks pocket money. I think my membership number was 4 (that is to say me, Jess's mum, his sister, his sister-in-law) Jacqui
