I am so excited - Santa and his helpers have just been round - and have a got a massive big sleigh with lights - its looks so fantastic - and there are carols blaring out from it too. It has really cheered me up and we are taking photos of the sleigh and everyone with it to send to Aus -

My daughter is out tonight with the Santa sleigh collecting in nearby streets. It is arranged by the Lions or Round Table. She has been so excited by the annual visit and this year asked a neighbour if she could help so has gone off with her Santa hat. When she was little, I used to find it all quite emotional. (I'm not admitting it but I might just still find it so). Jacky :-)

it was the local Round Table - just so glad they didnt play Once in Royal Davids City - then I would have really sobbed - cos my baby David (25 now ) is so far away - with his own baby - miss my son and daughter in law and desperate to hold their little girl - their Santa arrives on a fire truck!!!!

She, how lovely! The Lions Club do that in our area and there are more adults outside than children lol! They print their route in the local paper, so we know they will be in our road next Tuesday. It's also really nice because everyone goes out in the street and you get to talk to the neighbours you don't see all year. I hope he doesn't run out of petrol before he gets to me, it's a long way from Yorkshire to Somerset! Mandy :)

We have a similar float come round each year - it seemed to be early this year - or is it me being all behind again! lol I agree She - truly magical! I can remember wrapping my nephew in a blanket (he's now 36 !) and following the float that used to go round our home town - just for the pleasure on his face! Merry Christmas She! xx Magsxx
