Debenhams do a good idea re magazine subscription. The pack costs £20 and you get samples of all the 8 or so magazines on offer - some you will get 9 issues, some more for example. They include things like Loaded, Rugby, FHM. Bought one for my hubby, think he will like choosing. Is he interested in the computer? Cordless keyboard, webcam, something like that? Or if you're talking about spending more, what about a digital camera? Good luck! Mandy :) |

In my hubby's case, Championship Manager 2005 computer game was first on his Christmas list. He's normally happy if he gets the latest version of this game, chocolate, lagers from round the world, cds, and a couple of good books. Definitely no undies or socks, handkerchiefs, or tacky bubble bath/toiletry sets. Don't know how typical he is. Angela |

If you and/or he is/are feeling altruistic, pop down to your local Oxfam shop - you can make a donation on his behalf which will buy essentials for others - they have a leaflet about it called "What to give someone who has everything". nell |
