Susan - Found the entry you are looking for under 'Trying to find' it is on page 3 - the entry that appears is below: Dennis Skinner (27/04/2003 13:44:21) SKINNER Dennis Skinner; trying to find details of Robert Charles SKINNER, born 1847 in London, married Susannah Colby HIGH in Great Yarmouth in 1868/9; went to sea, retired in Hull. Also JOSIAH SKINNER, b1780, Duxford st John, Cambridge, married LYDIA - and JOHN SKINNER, b 1750? married GRACE WOOD in Cambridgeshire? Good hunting John

I've tried several times to respond to a 'trying to find' message that Dennis posted about my family, but have had no answer. I guess he's an ex-member, but am hoping that someone knows him and can tell him to make contact with me. Thanks. Sue (in NZ) Thanks yet again to you all. I have now spoken to Dennis on the phone (bill not due till January!) and we ARE from the same family! There is a slight problem with e-mails bouncing - his aol provider doesn'tseem to like my e-mail address, but hopefully we'll get around that. I've sent him a transcription of an 1850 family will which gives lots of names of family members, and should keep him busy for a while. Happy Christmas, amd thanks for helping my wish come true. Sue
