Fed up with NTL

I have dial-up with NTL and was unable to get connected to the internet,after 2 days and many phone calls I had to use there so called tecnical advise line costing 50p per minuite.I had to make 3 calls to them still not getting the problem solved. This morning I decided to disconnect my phone from socket and hey presto I am now able to open the internet.Hope this may help someone else. Margaret

Hi Margaret, You're not the only one fed up with NTL!! The length of time it takes to connect and then retrieve my e-mails is outrageous. I get fed up of waiting. Sometimes when i get the 'unable to connect to internet' message i have to switch my cable TV off and on to reset itself then it connects ok!! Mad or what. Tracey
