I have dial-up with NTL and was unable to get connected to the internet,after 2 days and many phone calls I had to use there so called tecnical advise line costing 50p per minuite.I had to make 3 calls to them still not getting the problem solved. This morning I decided to disconnect my phone from socket and hey presto I am now able to open the internet.Hope this may help someone else. Margaret |

Hi Margaret, You're not the only one fed up with NTL!! The length of time it takes to connect and then retrieve my e-mails is outrageous. I get fed up of waiting. Sometimes when i get the 'unable to connect to internet' message i have to switch my cable TV off and on to reset itself then it connects ok!! Mad or what. Tracey |
