Ah that could explain it Bob. Just annoying though when you see the names and get your hopes up only to find you've mailed them loads of times before.

Tracy have you checked the box at the top - 'names added in the last ( ) days' it could be set at 14 - might explain why you are getting the same name as 'new' Anne

They could be downloading new gedcom files. Unfortunatly each time you delete your existing tree the reolacement comes up as new names. Not just the new additions.

When i go to check my name summary, one persons names keep coming up as new all the time. About half a dozen times this has happened. I thought once they'd been entered that was it. Every other week they seem to be re-entered and i keep thinking it's someone new entering them but when i click on the persons name it's the same person entering them!! Does this make sense?
