I barely watched the new ones, and we tend to watch the old ones on uk gold all the time!!

Brilliant scene that was, and the chandelir falling. Also, the 1996 Xmas trilogy was the perfect poignant ending when they walked off into the sunset after becoming millionaires. These new episodes have made the show feel pretty worthless now, when the Trotters lost all their money.

favourite bit....when del-boy falls thru the bit of the bar sideways when the landlord leaves it open on his exit!

That was officially meant to be the ending that 1996 Xmas trilogy, and the death of Uncle Albert AKA Buster Merryfield in 1999 I thought would of made the chances of bringing it back even more remote. Plus, a lot of the storylines and gags in the 2001 through 2003 Xmas episodes had happened in previous episodes before them I think the writer and David Jason were pressurised into making more though, either that or money earning opportunities.

I agree, it rounded everything off nicely when they got that money, they should have left at that.....a happy ending!

Hi I know there is no new OFAH this Christmas, and really it is a good job. Does any of you agree that the past few Xmas specials have not been as good as the earlier episodes? Plus the actors are all getting a bit geriatric. To me I reckon they should of firmly closed the lid on the show back at Xmas 1996 when Del and Rodney became millionaires.
