Jasper lives locally to me. would have loved to have seen Paul Carrick. What a voice. Jacky :-)

Sounds like a good evening.Not too keen on Jasper Carrot anymore, dunno why though. Robert Plant lives about 10-15 mins from me. G4 were the winners in my book. Steve fingymajig was on TV earlier, nah he won't do as well as G4. Anyway, lucky you, wish l had been there. Bjorn Again are brilliant are't they - we saw them a few years ago in Horsham Sussex, outdoors, it was brilliant - candles and picnics,lanterns and wine,posh garden chairs and nice blankets and so much fun:o))) kids on peoples shoulders all swaying to the rythmn of the music. Yes it was the best night out I have had for ages. Forgot to say, all the procedes went to childrens charities. They raised over £200, 000 Margaret

Have just got back from Jasper Carrotts Christmas Cracker at the NEC arena. It was brilliant. You don't know who is on before you get there, its a suprise. I saw: Bjorn Again (The Abba tribute band), Liz from Atomic Kitten, Bill Bailey (from Never Mind the Buzzcocks), The Birmingham Royal Ballet, Lulu, Bev Bevan Band with guest singers Paul Carrick (Mike and the Mechanics) and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) (I cant believe I've seen Robert Plant), King of the Jungle, Joe Pasquale (He was sooooooo funny), Sixties singers: Dave Berry, Mike Pinder, Tony Crane, Dave Dee, Wayne Fontana and Brian Poole, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees who had Alistair from last years Fame Academy singing with him. G4 got a brilliant reception. Jasper introduced them as the true winners of X Factor. They sang, Circle of life, My Way and Bohemian Rhapsody, the full length version complete with air guitar (lol). There were also totally unaccompanied. I'm sure they got the best applause of the night. I had a great time and was only 6 rows from the front, so got a great view too. Apparently there were 12,000 people there, anymore GR members? Margaret
