Thank you all for your replies. I am disappointed, but e-mailing my Canadian friend, we think there may be a common relation as her G-Grandfather came from the same town. So maybe a reason to meet in Poland and hunt for relatives!! As she said "One door closes and another one opens". I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. A meet in the New Year would be great, I will buy the drinks, Lynda!! Sue

Sue, So very sorry. You must be very disappointed (putting it mildly). Never mind if you now have more information perhaps you are getting closer and 2005 will see you attain your dream. Best wishes, Jean x.

Oh Sue, I'm so sorry - what a disappointment. Are you sure it's definitely not her? Only I know from bitter experience that birth mothers will often go to great lengths to avoid confrontation. I hope that 2005 will be a good one in your search. Love Mandy :)

Hi Everyone, Sadly the lady who was found for me is not my birth mother. While her name is very similar, she had never been to the place my mother was born in. So big disappointment for me as a cold trail again. However, I do now have more info about her and can start looking for a birth certificate and hopefully other relations. St. Jude is going to have to work a bit harder this time! A BIG THANK YOU for all your support, it means alot. love Sue
