Hi, I'm pretty much as I post I think as far as opinions etc go. But I do try to remember this is a public forum and try to express opinions politely and to remember my manners when replying, even when I disagree with what has been written. With friends or in private I can be a lot more "assertive" and a lot less polite. But that's how it should be. My Chatson personality has many aspects of my character, though. Gwynne

Oh, this is almost impossible to answer. I agree that your cyber personality doesn't always correlate with your personality in real life, simply because you can hide behind the words that you're typing. This is best demonstrated whenever an argument on here becomes heated, if you're not careful you can end up wading in and you have to ask yourself, would you have done the same thing had this been a face to face argument between 2, 3 or however many people.

Hopefully I am nothing like the persona that seems to write my postings for me!! Sometimes I look at them later and think - what stuck up cow wrote that?? I think we all are multi-faceted - and we can only show one side at a time on here. It's impossible to get a full picture of me from the things I write. I don't try to project a false image, I don't deliberately mislead - BUT I don't THINK I'm the same person in real life! Perhaps someone will tell me!! LOL Magsxx

Methinks I am better talking face to face cos I find it hard to express myself and my personality on the boards , I have been told my sense of humour is not everybodies cup of tea and I think this has been proven already after only being here a few months so I do restrict my type of humour now but what the heck I think this place and the members are brill :-)

I am fairly quiet,fun loving, dry sense of humour,honest and down to earth caring person.Hate arguments/rows but if a person crosses me then I will argueback especially if I know if I am right,I will apologise if I am wrong. I have been a member for about eight months now. Very nervous at first and still a little nervous at repling to some threads. I will start to answer then decide to delete it, in case it comes out sounding silly. Over the past few months you have all helped me tremendously. I went through a period of depression four years ago, strange because i was at a point in my life where i was blissfully happy for the first time in many years. I soon realised it was loneliness. Although I still miss being so far away from my family, I have at long last made some friends up here and also on GR. Went to the Wakefield meet and found my confidence was slowly starting to return. Whatever opinions, if any, you have of me. I can assure you all that I am a very caring, hardworking and honest person. So why do I worry in case anyone does not like me. How do I come across to you all? Jenny xx

My offline 'real' self if very much like my online character. However I do find myself asking for help and advice a lot on here which I rarely do in real life, think this is because most of my friends are too young to offer experience and wisdom. I'm sure I can be annoying, I'm sure I can be 'me me me' at times and I am an incredible flirt but that's me, take it or leave it. Love becx
