KNIFE RAMPAGE IN LONDON One man has died and at least four people have been critically injured a series of knife attacks in north London in the space of just over an hour. Police have identified five separate incidents, three in the Enfield area, two in Haringey. on The first attack was reported at 8.20am at Edmonton Green, outside the train station where a man, 29, was found with stab wounds. At 8.50 a man was stabbed in Gladstone Avenue in Wood Green. At 9.07 in Compton Crescent, near the Tottenham football ground, a 30-year-old woman was found with a knife wound. At 9.11 in Ecclesbourne Gardens, Palmers Green, a 30-year-old man was also stabbed. At 9.27, a man, 40, was taken from Advent Way in Edmonton and later died from his wounds. It was later confirmed that one patient had been transferred to the London Heart Hospital and that all those injured remained critically ill. "Two people are in theatre, one has been transferred and two others are in accident and emergency," said a North Middlesex Hospital spokeswoman. She could confirm the nature of any patient's injury.. A man has been arrested in Haringey borough in connection with the stabbings. The suspect was described as either Turkish or middle-eastern appearance, about 30 years old. Police say they believe he was using a red saloon car

apparently my dad said that the parade of shops where he lives (empire parade) off great cambridge rd, was cornered off when he got home. He wasnt allowed to cross the road to the shops. Dont know if there is a link or not. Elaine x

There was a stabbing at empire parade, the bloke took himself to North mid hospital. My dad normally gets his papers there of a morning, so glad he missed it. Elaine x
