I am sorry to say it has also hit the Midlands and the North East. Eldest daughter and my two Grandsons in the Midlands have just got over it. Luckily only vomited half a dozen times in the night. Plus they have each gone through headaches and colds at different intervals. My Youngest daughter in the North East here, is still poorly since yesturday morning. 23 hours virtually solid sleep. Plus five hours again this afternoon. I have just finished all my housework for Christmas and will be in bed early tonight as I think I have a chest infection starting. What a way to celebrate my 50th Birthday tomorrow and Christmas. Jenny xx

I believe that The Kent and Canterbury hospital in Canterbury has closed to all admissions and visitors because of the Winter Vomiting Bug. This puts a great pressure on the William Harvey in Ashford . Sorry Anne we must have been typing at the same time .

It went through our house like a bloody draft..... Better half got it first and then one by one the kids all got it, I felt the most sorry for Chloe as she had to miss her school xmas party because of it. I was glad they all got it out of the way before xmas... and of course Chloes birthday which was yesterday. Have to say though it doesnt seem to last long... my 18 year old only seemed to go on for about 16 hours, 3 year old managed 48!! All the others only went about 24 hours. I spent 2 days feeling yuk but wasnt actually sick dont know if it was coz I was too busy nursing this lot or if it has still to hit... I hope not :-( Shaz x
