Oops thanks Stu. Just had never done it myself, only ever done alphabetical and date. Mandy :) x

Hi Ann, I don't think you can group emails by attachment (although I will stand corrected if need be!). Either alphabetical or by date received. You are not thick - each to his own, and I'm sure you are good at stuff that I'm hopeless at! Mandy :)

Stu and Mandy - aren't you brilliant? A four yr old is more computer literate than me. Now it is looking much better - but before I messed it up - all the mails with attachments were together - everything is in date order but attachments are all over the place - can I fix that too? Please don't say 'Oh my God - the stupid cat'! My son when he comes home usually says - Mum you can't really be that thick!!!

Ann, not the send/receive button - below that there is a bar which has got 'From' and the list of who has sent them to you, and 'Received' which should have the dates they were sent. Try those. Mandy :)

Stu - I am the original thicko - opening up every/each window and cannot see anything which says date in columns on left

Hit the send/receive button at top - no change Mandy

Try clicking on either 'From' or 'Received' at the top, this will change the order of the emails. Mandy :)

Outlook Express - my In box - all the emails are every way which way - new mail I have to search up and down for it. Cannot delete anything - Delete X not in red. Have closed down several times and still the same thing.
