Gordon, unless they can get it sorted, by tonight, i think that the M6 is a no-no, theres' been a big accident northbound,by stoke on trent and also another accident on the southbound....

Thank you all for your help. The A1 is looking promising and you don't get the cross winds there unlike the motorway. I might choose that option. Everyone who is travelling take care and have a safe journey Gordon

In case you take a devious,but scenic route......LOL Peterborough/A1 clear dry but frosty......no snow. have a good journey.......If you DO go past Norman Cross, give us a toot!

No help to you Gordon as I'm south of M25 but have a safe journey and take warm drinks and coats/ blankets inside the car.

Good morning everyone. I am driving from Surrey to Aberdeen starting out at 8pm tonight, could you kind people give me some idea of the type of weather in your area please. Roads being used M25, M6 then main roads in Scotland up to Aberdeen. Thank you Gordon
