Jenny i have been watching the news channel all day so you would have missed so many,in any case the Foreign Office is the place for people to leave messages and they get back to you ,as they did with my friends daughter . Nice thought Val

I know this may sound silly but Sky News Ticker is giving names of lots of british that have managed to email them, to say that there are safe. Is it worth me doing a thread with those names as they come up on Sky News TV. for those that do not have this channel. Jenny.x

My daughter is very worried because her manager in her office has family in Thailand, son, daughter in law and small baby. She cannot contact her manager as he is staying with his daughter in England. M.

What can you say about this terrible tragidy that has happened. How can these countries ever get over this worst devistation i think there has ever been with so many countries involved,and all those deaths,unbelievable. All our hearts go out to them . Val

Val I was about to put the same as Sue. I am sure that the travel company will be doing their best to keep them safe. I know that they are bringing tourists home from the Maldives as soon as they can get planes. Chrissie x

My friend who was recently widowed is on holiday with her friend ,so far no news of her. I hope and pray that she is alright . The Foreign Office have confirmed to June,s daughter that she is alive HOORAA
