Oh I know. It's frustrating isn't it. I have a few in London and have to wait for the main office. Chrissie x

Chrissie Oooooooh - if only. Unfortunately, once registration started all my family appear to have moved into London and the mapority of London registrars just send you back to the GRO as they get too many requests to provide copies.

So I drove home from London yesterday - through all the sales shoppers blocking up every road south of Manchester. In fact it took 7 hours to get from Surrey to the M62 because of a succession of accidents and blocked up shopping centres. Once past Manchester I was sailing (not literally) and looking forward to getting home and collecting the certificate I've been waiting for since 6th December. All very exciting as this is the only possible clue to a branch of Watsons and I desperatley need it. Get home and NOWT. NOt a sausage. MIserable old me goes to bed early and sulks. Arrive in work this moring to check my email to see what their excuse is for not sending it yet........ I only bluddy ordered the wrong name. Was after my 5x gt grandparents William and Hannah's marriage and went and requested it in their son Roberts name . Now I have to do that whole waiting thing again.
