Is it just me? I'm having a real problem getting onto the web site. Yesterday I paid £5 only to be thrown off after doing one search. Now I can't get back on. Joanne. |

Joanne, See my thread on the record board. I had a problem yesterday and I have copied their reply. Apparently we should NOT enter the site through our Favourites and also should disable our anti virus programmes. I would recommend you contact their help line and tell them your problem. I contacted them last night and they got back to me today. I have also asked for a refund - but I`m not holding my breath. Good luck. Frances |

Wendy, I must admit this was the first time I had paid online, I usually buy the vouchers, but I can`t see why that would make a difference. I do think the 48 hr time limit is unrealistic though don`t you? Frances |

Linda, It is a good site that you can search free of charge, but if you want to see an image to obtain more information you have to pay. Just put 1901 census into google and you will find it. Good luck. Frances |

Post your 1901 requests to me and I'll try to find them on ancestry for free :) or if you are in the mood you can donate the £5 you are saving to your fave charity if I find the images you need :) Regards Ann |

Sheila, I have bought vouchers at my local library, which is a very small branch. Just ask at the desk. They start from £5. Frances |

Sheila, Not all libraries sell them. Our main one does not, nor does the little local one, yet I can buy them from the 'library van' that goes round here! so check before you drive. Kim |
