Jim,All you need to do is look at the amount of "Legal Eagles"in the government, and how many more have been promoted,Knighted or other favours granted to them because of what they did or will do for "Phoney Tony and his Legal Cronies".No wonder we,re in such a mess. Hal.

When this 'Labour' party emerged, I said to my children, 'If they're socialists, I must be a Communist'. As a lifelong socialist like you Andy, I felt guilty not voting labour - but I had to vote - too much blood sweat and tears have been shed for the common man and woman to get the vote - so I voted Monster Raving Looney party!! I'm also proud to say I still have my badge and subs book from when I was in the (now defunct) Agricultural and Allied Workers Union. maggie

I'd agree with you Dave, as an ex Communist Party member and lifelong socialist I am disappointed. To the point where as I don't want to waste a vote at the next election I will probably vote LibDem. ANYTHING but the geriatrics of the Tory party getting back into power!

http://politics*guardian*co*uk If you click on full list of Labour MPs you can see previous occupations. Just browsed a little bit and lecturer and tutor came up quite often.

Where are the labourers in the so-called Labour Party? Seems to me that it is now composed of Middle Class Twits who have probably never had to raise a sweat while earning their daily bread.
